As ancient symbol relating to wholeness, a labyrinth is a series of winding, somewhat maze-like spiral of walking trails that purposefully directs a person to follow a specific serpentine path. Walking through a labyrinth is intended to be a meditative and contemplative act as part of a spiritual practice. It is a metaphor for our life’s journey. It represents our path for personal, psychological and spiritual transformation.

Our labyrinth was built by taking latitude and longitude into consideration when determining the harmonics of the area. Once a strong energy center at the crossing of two underground water streams was found, the center of the labyrinth tapped into an energy vortex. The energy of the labyrinth is contained by four cornerstones. Stones mark the walking path. All aspects of body, mind, and spirit aligned with a certain directions in the labyrinth. Each has a specific purpose. The west connects with healing energies; the east opens spiritual energies. We can have a direct experience with the Divine and broaden our understanding of who we are by walking a labyrinth using spiritual intent.
